Passengers can get the Digiport service on their smartphones. It means they can get real time flight information and detailed information about services at Fiumicino Airport from the chatbot via WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger.

By scanning the QR code displayed in the lower section of the Flight Info Monitors, passengers can access a special chat to check the status of their flight at any time, without having to look at the displays in the terminal.

Passengers can also ask recommendations for shops and restaurants and get immediate answers from the chatbot.

The service is available in English and Italian.

Passengers departing from 14 gates (E11-24) in the ‘Molo E’ non-Schengen boarding area can scan QR codes near the gates to see their flight’s boarding progress directly on their smartphone.

The system uses a system of micro-cameras coordinated by AI to collect and process real-time data on boarding operations, enabling passengers to view their departure gate in live-streaming from their mobile phones, including detailed updates on how close boarding is to completion.

By monitoring the progress of boarding from their phones, passengers are free to choose when to queue and can make the most of their time at the airport.

Digital map

Passengers departing from Fiumicino can view information about their flight and the services available, explore the airport on an interactive map and follow their route to your gate in real time.
